The Mid EUROPE is one of the largest brass music festivals in Europe. Every year, 35 ensembles and orchestras from approximately 15 nations travel to Schladming to share the sounds of classical, Bohemian, swing, ska, and pop music with the world. Open-air concerts, indoor performances, a grand parade – the Schladming TATTOO, and the famous Long Night take place in the center of Schladming and the neighboring town of Haus im Ennstal.

Walter Röhrl was the first champion, and what followed in his "slipstream" were world stars like Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, Niki Lauda, Sebastian Vettel, Rowan Atkinson, Patrick Dempsey, and Brian Johnson.

Every year, under the motto "LOUD FOR THE QUIET – STRONG FOR THE WEAK," hundreds of Harley riders participate in the charity tour across Austria, raising funds for children with muscular diseases. This year, the Harley-Davidson Charity Tour will once again bring a lively biker atmosphere to the main square in Schladming.

Ramsau am Dachstein
The Bauernherbst, the "5th season" of the region, takes place on Saturday with a festive atmosphere and musical entertainment at the Walcheralm. On Saturday, September 21st, the alpine breakfast will be held at the Walcheralm, where the animals will be decorated for the Almabtrieb at 11 am. At the arrival place, the Walcherhof, there will be musical entertainment from 10 am to 5 pm during the "Hoamfoarfest."

Christmas, just like it used to be. In addition to the "Advent am Talbach" Christmas market, there will be many enchanting Advent events in Schladming during the pre-Christmas season.

This Saturday, Schladming will once again be shaped by a traditional event: the Krampuslauf, also known as Perchtenlauf. This event is an integral part of Styrian culture and has been popular with both young and old for many years. Every year, numerous enthusiastic participants take part in this cultural tradition.

December 6 - December 8, 2024
The most spectacular event in the Austrian mountains. In 2024, the winter season will be opened over three days with three international stars. Last year, Robbie Williams provided an unforgettable experience. This year's Ski Opening stage will be set alight by Bryan Adams, Sting, and Simply Red.

A long-standing tradition and a fixture in the FIS World Cup calendar for Nordic combined since 1995/96. Over 100 athletes will once again compete for coveted World Cup points in the cross-country skiing region of Ramsau am Dachstein in mid-December 2024.
